This one-hour class offers a practice of strengthening, stretching, and relaxing. Improved balance, greater mobility, strengthened circulation, deeper breathing, and lessened tension are potential benefits from this weekly yoga practice.
Beginners are welcome; participants need strength and mobility to get down to the floor and back to standing.
Wear comfortable clothes; bring a yoga mat and water bottle.
More about the Instructor: Jenny Howard Owen is a Certified and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) since 2012, who focuses her classes on breathing and safety in alignment for all participants.
Waivers: We have two waivers for you to sign--one for the Library, and one for your yoga instructor, and we ask for emergency contact information--just in case. Please read over the yoga instructor's liability waiver at this link and email the instructor if you have any questions or concerns. We also ask you to sign in each week. By doing so, you are agreeing to both waivers for each class.
Anderson Public Library is located in the heart of Lawrenceburg Kentucky on Main Street. The library has 2 meeting rooms that can be combined into 1 large room, 2 study rooms, a history room, and a makerspace lab.
